We’ve got some exciting news to share.
Oceanic Woodstore is moving into a new, larger workshop at the Newhaven Enterprise Centre.
Just down the road from our current space, this move marks the next stage in our journey.
Why the move?
Our business has outgrown our first workshop. We want to build bigger, higher-value furniture, and to do that we need more room. The new space gives us exactly that — space to take on larger projects and showcase our work properly.
It also gives us something we’ve been working towards for a long time: a dedicated area for classes. Instead of squeezing them in, we’ll now be able to run woodworking and creative resin workshops more often, in a proper, professional setup.

Yes, moving to a larger workshop means taking on more costs, but we see this as an investment in our growth. The space unlocks opportunities we simply didn’t have before: more capacity, more visibility, and more ways to share the craft we love.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be setting up the new Woodstore, planning our first calendar of workshops, and preparing new furniture projects to showcase the possibilities of the bigger space.
